Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism Code 2019 - Amendment (Press Release)

There has been a recent amendment to the Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism Code 2019 (“the Code”) in order to address some minor typographical errors identified and to address some updates that were required. The amended Code came into force on 25 November 2019.

The Isle of Man Financial Services Authority has issued a Consultation Paper to obtain views and evidence in relation to proposed changes to the current Corporate Governance Code of Practice for Commercial Insurers (which came into operation on 1 January 2019), including extending the proposed amended code on a proportionate basis to all Isle of Man authorised insurers.
