Bogus Facebook posts
Ellan Vannin Profitspoint Multi Income (“Ellan Vannin”)
The Authority has become aware of a number of posts on the Facebook social media site purporting to be from the account of Ellan Vannin Profitspoint Multi Income. The posts have graphics apparently depicting that large credits linked to Ellan Vannin investments had been received in bank accounts held by Conister Bank Limited in the Isle of Man (see copy below). The Facebook account was only created on 20th October 2024
We can confirm that Conister Bank Limited does not have a business relationship with an entity called Ellan Vannin and the credits quoted in the seen Facebook posts have not been received by them.
Ellan Vannin is not known to the Authority and is not licensed nor registered by them to offer any financial products.
The Authority wishes to draw attention to the following observations:
The Authority has failed to establish any association between Ellan Vannin and any genuine Isle of Man companies or businesses.

Under the circumstances, the Authority is concerned that any person who has viewed the attached posts may potentially become the victim of fraud or it may be an attempt at gaining personal data from the browser in order to steal their identity.

Any persons who are already involved in any dealings with Ellan Vannin should consider notifying their local Police, bringing to their attention the contents of this notice.
