Country Lists updated
The Isle of Man Financial Services Authority wishes to draw attention to amendments to the country lists following the June 2023 FATF plenary. The country lists have been updated by the Cabinet Office and can be viewed on the Department of Home Affairs website.
In particular the Authority would like to highlight that:
- Cameroon, Croatia and Vietnam are now subject to increased monitoring by the FATF and as such, have been added to List B(i).
- Jurisdictions removed from List B(ii) as of July 2023: Bangladesh, Brazil, Cameroon, Chile, Colombia, Egypt, Ethiopia, India, Indonesia, Israel, Kenya, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Niger, Pakistan, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Türkiye, Uganda, United Arab Emirates.
Firms should carry out their own evaluation for any impact on their risk assessments and customer procedures arising from these changes.
