2018 Industry Survey

The Isle of Man Financial Services Authority has commissioned its first independent industry survey to obtain the views of firms, which it regulates or oversees, of the effectiveness of the Authority in the performance of its functions as well as the views of industry on the interaction and engagement between firms and the Authority.

The survey will be conducted in two separate phases.  Phase 1 is the completion of the on-line survey by industry participants.  The second phase will be undertaken in June 2018 and will explore areas of interest arising from the results of phase 1 through confidential face to face or telephone interviews with a small sample of senior management selected from across the sectors.

The survey is being conducted by Island Global Research Limited, an independent company providing market research and consultancy services.  Island Global Research has today send the link to the online survey to all regulated firms and designated businesses overseen by the Authority and those firms are invited to respond to the survey by 6 April 2018.  Only Island Global Research will have access to the online responses and they will ensure that individual responses to the survey remain completely confidential.  As part of the Authority’s commitment to transparency and accountability the final report, presenting the response in summary form and without attribution, will be posted on the Authority’s website later this year.
