Consultation Reponses: Insurance (Long Term Business Valuation and Solvency) Regulations 2018 and Insurance Regulations 2018

The Financial Services Authority (‘the Authority’) has today published responses to consultations CP17-15/T12 (Insurance (Long Term Business Valuation and Solvency) Regulations 2018) and CP17-15/T15 (Insurance Regulations 2018) on the Isle of Man Government’s Consultation Hub.

Both sets of regulations were made on 28 June 2018. The (Insurance (Long Term Business Valuation and Solvency) Regulations 2018 come into force on 30 June 2018 for all insurers authorised to carry on long-term insurance business, and the Insurance Regulations 2018 come into force on 30 June 2018 for all authorised insurers and permit holders.
