The Authority has recently become aware of a website http://skyesecurityinternational.page.tl purporting to represent the business Skye Security International.

On the profile page of the aforementioned website it lists a number of current and former members of the Authority’s staff as being involved in senior positions within the company. We suspect that this has been done to give the purported entity Skye Security International some form of credibility.

The Authority wishes to draw attention to the following observations:

Whilst Skye Security International do not claim to operate in or from the Isle of Man, the Authority are concerned about the use of the names and professional bona fides of both current and former members of their staff.

There is no company incorporated in the Isle of Man by the name of Skye Security International.

The Authority has established no association between the above Skye Security International and any genuine Isle of Man companies, businesses or individuals.

The Authority has established no genuine links between the above entity and the Isle of Man.

A search of all genuine companies incorporated in the Isle of Man can be conducted at http://www.gov.im/ded/pvi/pvi_fr.html?menuid=21707

Any persons who are already involved in any dealings with the above entity and have concerns should contact the Enforcement Division at the Authority on +44 1624 689311 or by e-mail to info@iomfsa.im for advice.

Any persons who have paid funds to the above entity should consider contacting their local Police without delay.
