This notice is issued by the Financial Services Authority (“the Authority”) in accordance with the powers conferred upon it under Section 30 of the Financial Services Act 2008.

Private Wealth Builder

The Authority has recently become aware of a website www.privatewealthbuilder.com purporting to represent the business Private Wealth Builder who are claiming to operate out of the Isle of Man and offering wealth management and investment advice. The Authority wishes to draw attention to the following observations:

The telephone number used by this entity on the stated website namely +44 845 528 0276 is not issued by Isle of Man telecommunication provider.

There is no company incorporated in the Isle of Man by the name of Private Wealth Builder.

The Authority has established no association between the above entity and any genuine Isle of Man companies or businesses.

The Authority has established no genuine links between the above entity and the Isle of Man.

A search of all genuine companies incorporated in the Isle of Man can be conducted at https://services.gov.im/companies-registry/

To offer investment advice and wealth management services in or from the Isle of Man requires a licence issued by the Authority. 

Any persons who are already involved in any dealings with the above entity and have concerns should contact the Enforcement Division at the Authority on +44 1624 689321 or by e-mail to info@iomfsa.im for advice.

Any persons who have paid funds to the above entities should consider contacting their local Police without delay.
