UK Secured Finance Fund plc

On 10 June 2015 His Honour the Deemster Doyle sitting in the High Court of Justice of the Isle of Man heard an application from the Financial Supervision Commission (“the Commission”) seeking that Joint Liquidators provisionally be appointed to the UK Secured Finance Fund plc (“the Fund”) pending the hearing of the Commission’s winding up application scheduled for 22 July 2015.

His Honour the Deemster Doyle granted the application and by Order appointed Sarah Sanders and Alex Adam both of Deloitte Joint Liquidators provisionally of UK Secured Finance Fund plc.

On 11 June 2015 His Honour the Deemster Doyle varied the Order to additionally appoint the Joint Liquidators provisionally as joint deemed Official Receivers of the Fund.

The Fund is a Qualifying Fund under the Qualifying Funds Regulations 2010. The appointment of Joint Liquidators provisionally follows the Commission’s appointment of Sarah Sanders and Alex Adam as Joint Controllers of the Fund under section 13(1) of the Collective Investment Schemes Act 2008 (“the Act”). The Commission issued a press release on this appointment on 31 March 2015.
