IPA issues discussion paper on Enterprise Risk Management , Internal Models and Operational Risk for life insurers

The discussion paper sets out issues relating to the use of Enterprise Risk Management by life insurers, the use of internal models for regulatory capital purposes, and the calculation of capital requirements for operational risk, all in the context of life insurance business.

This document will be of direct interest to all existing and prospective insurance companies undertaking long term insurance business in or from the Isle of Man.
