Bogus website – www.boi-ir.com - F.S.C
This notice is issued by the Financial Supervision Commission (“the Commission”) in accordance with the powers conferred upon it under Section 30 of the Financial Services Act 2008.
The Financial Supervision Commission has become aware of the above website which falsely purports to represent the entity, the Bank of Ireland (I.O.M.) Limited.
There is a genuine entity by the name of the Bank of Ireland (I.O.M.) Limited, which is licensed by the Commission. However, the Commission can confirm that the above mentioned website is in no way connected or associated with the genuine Bank of Ireland (I.O.M.) Limited and is not a website operated by any part of the Bank of Ireland Group.

The address contact details on the bogus website are that of the genuine Bank of Ireland (I.O.M.) Limited, however, the names of senior managers as listed above, the contact e-mail addresses, fax number and telephone numbers listed are NOT associated with the genuine entity.
Under the circumstances, the Commission would strongly urge persons considering dealing with this potentially fraudulent entity to exercise the greatest possible caution before proceeding, bearing in mind the contents of this public notice.
The Commission feels that any person accessing this fraudulent website may potentially become the victim of an Advanced Fee Fraud – see explanatory notice issued by the Commission at:
