Gaming Software Distribution Limited - F.S.C
This notice is issued by the Financial Supervision Commission (“the Commission”) in accordance with the powers conferred upon it under Section 30 of the Financial Services Act 2008.
The Commission has recently become aware of the above named purported company which is holding itself out as having been licensed to conduct online gaming business by the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision (‘GSC’).
The purported company Gaming Software Distribution Limited has falsely manipulated genuine official documentation to give the impression that they are licensed to conduct online gaming business by the GSC. The manipulated documentation falsely bears the crest of the Financial Supervision Commission.
The Commission wishes to draw attention to the following observations:
The GSC has never licensed nor had an application from an entity called Gaming Software Distribution Limited.
There is no legitimate company incorporated in the Isle of Man with the name Gaming Software Distribution Limited and we have been unable to establish any genuine connection between a company of this name and the Isle of Man.
Genuine entities licensed by the Gambling Supervision Commission can be seen on their website at http://www.gov.im/gambling/licensees
Under the circumstances, the Commission feels that this falsely manipulated document will be used in an attempt to pass the purported entity Gaming Software Distribution Limited off as a legitimate company with the kudos of being licensed in a well regulated jurisdiction.
Any persons who are already involved in any dealings resulting from the bogus documentation and have concerns should contact the Enforcement Division on +44 1624 689311 or by email to fsc@gov.im.
