Bogus website - www.angloirishonline.com

The Financial Supervision Commission has become aware of the above website which falsely purports to represent the entity, Anglo Irish Bank Corporation (International) PLC.

There is a genuine entity by the name of Anglo Irish Bank Corporation (International) PLC, which is licensed by the Commission. However, the Commission can confirm that this website is in no way connected or associated with Anglo Irish Bank Corporation (International) PLC and is not a website operated by any part of the Anglo Irish Group.

The address contact details on the bogus website are that of the genuine Anglo Irish Bank Corporation (International) PLC, however, the numerous contact e-mail addresses on this website are NOT those of the genuine entity.

Under the circumstances, the Commission feels that this website is being used as an attempt at gaining personal data from the recipient in order to steal their identity – see explanatory notice issued by the Commission at:
