The Commission has recently become aware of the above website which purports to represent the above entity as well as Conister Bank Limited.

The Commission wishes to draw attention to the following observations:

There is a genuine entity on the Isle of Man called Conister Bank Limited, which is licensed by the Commission, but is in no way connected or associated with the above website.

The address contact details on the website are that of the genuine Conister Bank Limited however the telephone and fax details supplied are NOT those of the genuine entity.

There is no genuine entity called Conister Banking & Trust Company Limited incorporated on the Isle of Man or licensed by the Commission.

Under the circumstances, the Commission feels that this website is being used as an attempt at gaining personal data from the recipient in order to steal their identity – see explanatory notice issued by the Commission at;

Under the circumstances, the Commission would strongly urge persons considering dealing with this entity to exercise the greatest possible caution before proceeding, bearing in mind the contents of this public notice.
