This notice is issued by the Financial Supervision Commission (“the Commission”) in accordance with the powers conferred upon it under Section 22 of the FinancialSupervision Act 1988.

The Commission has recently become aware of the above website, which claims to represent the above entity.

The Commission has also become aware of correspondence purporting to have been sent by the above named individual, who purports to be from the “Funds Transfer Dept, EURO MONUMENT HOUSE & FINANCE Plc”. (sic)

In the correspondence the above individual claims “You can make transfer of your funds into any online banking account of your choice. Your account balance is Twenty Five Million Great British Pounds Sterlings (25mGBP) and it was deposited into your transit account this afternoon. You are required to visit our online banking site and start the transfer process.” (sic). To activate your “Transit Account” they give you a Customer ID and Customer Key Word.

The above website contains information alleging that the above entity has one of its office locations in the Isle of Man at, Samuel Harris House, 5-11 St George’s Street, Douglas, Isle of Man, IM991SN.

Enquiries undertaken by the Commission have established that although this address does exist, the genuine occupants of the address have no connection with or knowledge of the above entity.

The above entity is not a company incorporated within the jurisdiction of the Isle of Man. It is not registered as a foreign company having established a place of business on the Isle of Man. It is not registered as a business name on the Isle of Man.

The above entity is not licensed by us to undertake Banking or any other regulated activity in, on or from the Isle of Man.

The Commission has established no genuine links between the above entity and the Isle of Man.

Under the circumstances the Commission feels that these emails are being issued in order to attempt gaining personal data from the recipient in order to steal their identity – see explanatory notice issued by the Commission at:

The Commission would strongly urge persons considering dealing with the above entity to exercise the greatest possible caution before proceeding, bearing in mind the contents of this public notice.
