The Commission has recently become aware of the above website which purports to represent the above entity.

The website claims that the above entity has an address of DVG Building, Douglas, Isle of Man IM1 2RG. The Commission has been unable to identify any such address on the Isle of Man. The postcode quoted does not relate to such address. The Commission have been able to establish that the address to which the postcode relates has no connection or association whatsoever with the above entity.

The website gives a telephone number for the above entity of +44 870 490 9769 and a fax number of +44 870 068 1169. Neither of these numbers relate to lines located on the Isle of Man.

The above entity is not a company incorporated within the jurisdiction of the Isle of Man. It is not registered as a foreign company having established a place of business on the Isle of Man. It is not registered as a business name on the Isle of Man.

The website claims that “Medal Group” “is licensed by the Isle of Man Financial Supervision Commission to conduct consultation services”. This claim is untrue.

The above entity is not licensed by the Commission to undertake any regulated activities in, on or from the Isle of Man. We are unaware of what licence would be required on the Isle of Man to “conduct consultation services” as we are unsure as to precisely what activity such purported services could relate to.

The registrant of the above website gives their address as BVM Building, Prospect Hill, Douglas, Isle of Man. No such address exists on the Isle of Man. The Commission notes, however, that the same false address has been claimed by the subject of a previous Public Warning issued by us.

Under the circumstances, the Commission would strongly urge persons considering dealing with the above entity to exercise the greatest possible caution before proceeding, bearing in mind the contents of this public notice.
