The Commission has recently become aware of the above website which includes references to and claims to represent the above entities.

The website claims that the above entities are based in the Isle of Man and that it has an address at “7th Floor, Illiam Dhone House, 68 Circular Road, Douglas, Isle of Man, British Isles.” Following research by the Commission we can state that this address does not exist. There is a genuine building by the name Illiam Dhone House, however, we can confirm that this is occupied by the Isle of Man Government and is not based at 68 Circular Road. 68 Circular Road is a car park. The website also gives a postcode for the entities as IM1 1PG. Following research undertaken by the Commission we can state that this postcode relates to the Isle of Man Government.

The above entities are not companies incorporated within the jurisdiction of the Isle of Man. They are not registered as foreign companies having established a place of business on the Isle of Man. They are not registered as business names on the Isle of Man.

The above entities are not, nor ever have been, licensed by the Financial Supervision Commission to undertake Banking, Investment or Corporate Service Provider business in or from the Island.

The Commission has established no association between these entities and any genuine Isle of Man company.

Under the circumstances, the Commission would strongly urge persons considering dealing with these entities to exercise the greatest possible caution before proceeding, bearing in mind the contents of this public notice.

Any persons who have paid funds to these entities should consider contacting their local Police Fraud Unit without delay.

For the complete avoidance of doubt please note that there is a genuine entity by the name Habib European Bank Limited operating from the Isle of Man. Habib European Bank Limited is licensed by the Commission to undertake banking business. None of the subjects of this Notice are connected or associated in any form or manner with Habib European Bank Limited.
