Designated Business Fees
The Authority Funding Model document explains the Authority’s approach to funding its activities from 1 April 2023.
Fees from 1 April 2023
An applicant for registration as a Designated Business is required to pay an application fee.
Registered Designated Businesses are required to pay an annual fee to the Authority to maintain their registration. If they have elected to be overseen by the Authority, the annual fee is higher to reflect the additional work carried out. If they have elected to be overseen by a delegated oversight body, they may be required to pay an annual fee to that body.
An annual fee is also applicable if the business elects to be overseen by the Authority.
Specified non-profit organisations are not required to pay application or annual fees.
